Error 0x8050800c

could someone explain please explain to why it is taking so long to correct
this error. Its been over a month now and still no solution. I never had a
problem with the older version of WD. Is there a way to convert my HD back to
a basic disk.

Thanks for the heads up I found that same url after I wrote the email. I
would like to switch back to basic but I do not have the time to back up and
if need be reload window. I thought it was just a simple thing like whe I
converted to dynamic. I just wish they would fix this error.

i am sorry i'm replying to this message but i couldn't post a new question. I
have exactly the same problem with my WD and i don't know what to do. I've
tried the url Engel mentioned but still i get the same message. Please
somebody help?? (as i am useless with computers) :)
