In attempting to update to SP2 I received this error. When I did a search on
the error number on the microsoft site the only thing it told me to do was
clear the cache. I did that and I am still getting the error. I just read a
section from someone here that said it could also be in the "data store".
What is that and how do I deal with it? Does anyone have any suggestions as
to how I can deal with this error code other than what I have already done?

No. That is not all it says. It says to... Delete Cookies, Delete all
offline content and to Clear History.

To resolve this error, clear the Microsoft Internet Explorer cache. To do
this, follow these steps:1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab.
4. In the Temporary Internet files section, click Delete Cookies.
5. In the Delete Cookies box, click OK.
6. Click Delete Files.
7. Click to select the Delete all offline content check box in the Delete
Files dialog box, and then click OK.
8. In the History section, click Clear History.
9. Click Yes, and then click OK.

You may receive an error message when you search for available updates on
the Windows Update Web site

Hi

Getting rid of the datastore is done by deleting or renaming the
SoftwareDistribution folder. See step 2 here for details:

When searching for available updates on the Windows Update site,
you receive the 0x80248011 error.
