I get this message when using Windows Update for two specific downloads.
They are entitled HID Non User Input Data Filter and they cannot be
installed. To complicate matters there are no problems with the items in
Device Manager. They relate I presume to the keyboard and mouse I just
installed which work perfectly. On startup I get a desktop message that the
Filters have suffered a fatal error and cannot be installed, however that
does not seem to affect either device. All other Windows updates download
and install.
