Above error received when attempting to load LG phone synchronisation
software - have run REGCURE to check registry entries without resolution.
Software has loaded OK on another PC so must be linked to software/registry
on this machine. Understand this is a generic memory handling error.

well, not every problem
a computer encounters
can be solved by the
registry.

in fact most problems
are not attributed to the
registry.

further, the error you
are getting is likely
one produce by that
software and not windows.

otherwise windows would
be crashing.

you may have to refer the
issue with the manufacturer
of the software.

<snip>

The discussion shown here suggests that this problem is due to the Office XP
SP3 update:

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...&tid=c4e5a30f-348b-481d-9e5b-19f957de147c&p=1

You might see if the following search yields anything relevant to your
situation:

There is, for example, at least one "hotfix" for a similar problem (error is
not identical) in Windows 2000. So, a lot would depend on what version of
Windows you're running.
