error 0x80004003 invalid pointer

Encountered this when trying to perform a scan.

Get message:
"You haven't scanned your computer for 4 days"
Clicked on start scan and got the error message.
If I click on Scan on top menu, scan runs ok.
 
Yeah I get the same error. I get round it by using the scan button in the
toolbar above.
 
This is a known issue and will be fixed in future versions. A simple
workaround is to hit the "Scan" in the toolbar instead of the button in the
yellow tile.
