keep getting this message with the instruction that the referenced memory at 0x00000008 could not be read.help please

Which application are you running? When does it happen? More info please
 
hi,using xp professional,and it happens when closing internet explorer sometimes but happens every time when closing down computer

Hi Sandi
I did a search on google and came up with the following. You don't mention a
particular piece of software causing the error but it wouln't hurt to run
adaware ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com ) or spybot (
http://spybot-spyware.com ) to check if you've a problem

DDCMAN.exe is adware. There are countless tools on the web for removing
adware.

Try adaware
