In Internet Explore opening one particular web site the
mouse starts clicking erratically this does not happen on
any other computer in the office or other url/
If by "erratic mouseclicking" you mean that some links etc work and some
don't, I would look at the version of Explorer you're using. Make sure it's
the latest, and that it's not corrupt.
It's also possible that you've set security to High, which IIRC means that
cookies are rejected, and that in turn may make interaction with a website
iffy. Usually, Medium is OK, especially if a) you visit only trusted sites;
and b) you also have a firewall installed (I use Zone Alarm, but there are
others.) Just make sure that Explorer opens no attachments without your
permission. If all else fails, do a Repair from Safe Mode (this reinstalls
W2K files without messing up data.)
Of course, personally, I wouldn't use Explorer at all, but that's another
rant.
