"erasing tracks" possible for all users in one run

I use the tracks eraser tool (advanced tools) to clear out my ms-IE history
and so on. However, MS-Antispyware beta 1 only does so for my account.
Now my family members also have their accounts with their passwords and I'm
the system administrtor so to say (and i have no access to their passwords).

Hence, i wish to run the tracks eraser tool for all accounts in 1 go.
Is this possible?
Will this be possible in a next version?

Hi

This is a security issue even within a family to maintain
different users integrity.

It must be up to every user to deside what they want to remove.

Nevertheless MSAS tracks eraser is "out of order" in several
functions and therefore I recommend CCleaner.

www.ccleaner.com (also maintain user integrity)

I would recommend looking to other products for this functionality. I'm not
familiar enough with CCleaner, which is recommended by many here--to know
whether it can do this or not, but it would be worth investigating.

Hi Bill

CCleaner has the same integrity between different users if
the account is password protected.

I do not believe that MS will include any "Family bypass"
for this integrity.

Maybe if MS used a shared "junk yard" this was possible.

One more option with CCleaner is that cleaning can be done
"automagic" when a user logs in.

I also noticed within IE7 that now the default TIF size is 50MB
instead of GB with new PCs and IE6.

Good news, for sure. I'm a bit surprised, though--I can easily imagine a 30
megabyte installer package sitting in there--I'd expect them to have made it
bigger.

Hi Bill

This is something only for MSAS and some old fashion installs. ;)

I believe that MS going over to use the "Software distribution" folder
for all downloads, equal to everything from Windows update.

This TIF junkyard is something for other purposes, malware and cookies
;)

It was Adobe I was thinking of when making that comment. Every user has
their vendor they would characterize unfavorably at times. I won't go quite
so far as the terms you've used below, but......
