I have been using a 1 GB USB Flash drive to transfer files from one computer
to another without any problems. Yesterday, I received a message "not enough
space" and found that a ReadiBoost.sfcache file was on the drive taking up
almost all the space. I have no idea where it came from, or how it got
there,or what it does, but I am at a loss how to delete it.

With the USB drive plugged in, right click the incon in Computer and select
properties. Then select ReadyBoost. Check "Do not use this device". Select
apply.

Thanks, Paul, for the rapid reply. I am using Vista HLome Basic, and when I
click on "Properties" I get, under details:File, Name, Type,Folder path,
size, date created, Attributes, etc. but nowhere can I find "Do not use this
device". At one time I did click on details: "Remove properties and personal
information"; that being done in desperation.

If God would only give me the ability to follow instructions, I would never
need this Community. After reading your instructions for the third time, I
did click on COMPUTER and not on the device name in drive J and everything
cleared as you rightly suggested. Thanks a million.
