Hi,

I'm not sure if autokey stroke is the correct name, but
what i'm trying to do is to stop the entry block from
remembering past entries. ie. a search engine entry
block. I enter "forrest gump" and the next time i enter
any word starting with "f" the "forrest gump" shows up on
a drop down menu. How do I get my computer to stop
remembering these past entries?

Thank you,

Sean

You'll need to turn off autocomplete. With your browser window open, click on Tools/Internet Options. Select the Content tab. Uncheck the boxes in "Use Autocomplete for" and click Apply. This will also disable autocomplete when entering an email address in Outlook Express which is also annoying. Also, you can clear passwords from forms on this tab too if you've accidentally had a website save your password when you didn't want it to. Hope this helps.

In addition to the excellent advice from Janice, while you are in Internet
Options, select the Advanced tab and remove the check mark fron the ""Use
inline Autocomplete" option.
