REVIEW:

This little 1-File Wonder, no-install program (116K unzipped) handles TEMP
files and folders just the way you need. Place it in the Startup folder, and
it quickly deletes all TEMP files and folders without fanfare, then
dismisses itself. It ignores TEMP files less than 1 day old. This prevents
some setup routines that require a re-boot from failing. In addition to the
Windows\Temp folder and user temp folder, it also zaps the DrWatson logs and
Windows user dumps. You have about 2 seconds to "pin" EraseTemp on boot,
where you can read the actions it preformed. After use, Spybot S&D found
nothing, and RegEdit revealed 2 generic keys, so it's an honest program.
There is an EXE "manifest" file which I did not even bother to unzip.
EraseTemp works fine without it.

Just a word on comparing EraseTemp with another great TEMP cleaning program,
"TempCleaner": I have been using TempCleaner for a year or 2, and it works
very well. However, it has no provision for sparing new TEMP files, and you
must remember remove it from startup if you use certain older setup programs
that read TEMP files on the first re-boot after install. Although
TempCleaner is very useful, I think EraseTemp nudges it out as the best TEMP
cleaning program I have ever used. It's very safe, requires no setup, and
does its job unobtrusively.

You will find the program, a crack, and a keygen on the site below. ;)

Unfortunately: "You will need to have .net framework installed. You can
get this from windowsupdate or from MSDN Downloads." :-(

It also phones home each time it is ran. :-( supposedly checking for new
version.

Yea, I forgot to mention that. It does phone home, but it's innocuous. It
checks for an update upon the first launch, thereafter monthly or never, as
you choose.
