Hello!!
Salesman at local Office Depot store told me there is a
way to delete select files from CD-RW disk..Is done by
leaving the disk open and forget about using the
wizard..Anyone know of this?..My computer with XP tells me
its mandatory that all the files have to go at one
time...Any comments?..Thanks...Nick

If a CD-R/W is formatted with packet writing software like Direct CD, Drag n
Drop, DLA or InCD then yes you can delete individual files from it. However
XP's built in software does not use packet writing. It uses the
ISO9660/Joliet format. You can erase the entire CD-R/W but you can't delete
individual files.

Another bummer...............

If you are using the inbuilt CD burning it does not work on the
individual files and you can only erase the disk as a whole. You would
need to use one of the 'packet writing UDF' methods, third party
software: Direct CD/Drag to Disk by Roxio; InCD by Nero or DLA by
Veritas. Read more at http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpcd.htm
