Does anyone know of any programs out there that would
make it easy to load equations into a powerpoint
presentation, using subscripts, superscripts and all the
different symbols easily.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

depending on your version, I use insert, object, microsoft equation for most
things. If it is just a superscript or subscript then right click font will
do it or even insert symbols

Most versions of PowerPoint ship with the Equation Editor:

http://www.indezine.com/products/powerpoint/addin/eqeditor.html

If that does not meet your requuirements, you can upgrade to MathType:
