At a local computer store, I printed out 2 pictures. 1 on an Epson
printer, using Epson brand photo paper, and one on a Hewlett Packard
using Hewlett Packard brand photo paper. Within a few minutes after
the prints were printed, I ran them under a water faucet.
The Epson printout didn't smear any ink. I was even able to rub the
print dry with paper towel and it still didn't smear and the paper
towel didn't have any ink on it when I was done rubbing.
The HP, however, lost alot of it's ink down the drain without even
using a paper towel.
I did it on a few different models from both companies and the results
were the same. Talk to an Epson rep at your local computer store.
Maybe he'll let you do this test and you can see for yourself.
