EPSON Stylus® C82 - to print 1000 pages of black & white?

Hi,

I went to Sim Lim Sq last weekend, and this guy told me that "EPSON Stylus®
C82" can print 1000 pages of black/white text with one "DuraBrite Ink"
cartridge.

Is that true?

Yes, you realize it also depends on the amount of text on the page and the
resolution used to print it.

1000 pages is just 2 reams of paper (2 typical packages like you would
buy at Office Max). I have probably printed two packages of paper on one
cartridge.
