Epson Stylus Photo 960

I am trying to print 4 x 6 prints on the Stylus Photo 960. The printer will shoot out blank sheet first then pull a second sheet. The picture will start printing on the last 3/4th of the sheet. The entire photo will never print. I have tried using various photo editing programs and have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. I am running WindowsXP Home edition. Any help would be greatly apprieciated

After reboot, install the printer using the software from Epson...... do NOT
reconnect the printer until the software tells you to do so....
