1. Make sure the printer is set for borderless print.
2. You need to fit the aspect ratio of your photo to the aspect ratio of
your paper size.
The aspect ratio is simply the width/height.
So 6/4 = 1.5 is the aspect ratio of your paper.
To get the aspect ratio of your photo, look at the dimension in pixels and
divide the width by height.
If you have a consumer digicam you will find this number to be 1.33 and this
cannot fit into 6 x 4. If you have a DSLR you will find this number to be
1.5 and this should fill the entire area perfectly.
So my guess is you have 1.33 camera (also called 4:3).
The easiest way to make this fit is to crop a little at the top and the
bottom.
You can do this quickly with the following free software:
www.faststone.org
Open the photo with this software, select the crop tool, select the print
size you want, place the crop over the area you want to keep and then save.
This will make a new file in your folder, same name as original file but
with the letters "cr" added to it. You can then print and it should fill the
entire area.
You need to do this for every print size you want unless the print size and
photo size have the same aspect ratio.
