It is obsolete. If you haven't used for 6 or 8 months, perhaps you don't
need a color printer.

Haven't used in 6 or 8 months. Will not feed just one sheet, feeds many
sheets at time. If I load six sheets will feed all thru rollers. I am
getting tired of this thing and read to go for canon color. Need advice.
Thank you,
Seamus J. Wilson

e-bay?

Seriously, sitting idel is not good for people or things. My guess is
that something in the feed mechanism is a) dirty, b) sticking.
When you get the feed fixed, you may find clogged heads. If you are
leaning to replace it, then don't waste time fixing.
Thank you,

I do not usually let it sit idle.
The inaction was due to the fact that my world cruise yacht had the hull
holed near the Azores and the repair took several months. Then it leaked
going round the Horn necessitating more delay for repairs. When I arrived
back in the states the printer failed.
Am selling yacht to buy a new printer or two.
Best,

I've got an old HP895cxi that's in good condition. If it's a really nice
yacht (over 40 ft say) then perhaps we could set up a swap :-)

Unfortunately the yacht has been given to charity for tax write off, just
like a good republican

I was given one of these printers that had not been turned on for over 3
years, it still had its first set of original Epson ink cartridges in it.
After only six head cleaning cycles it was up and running.
