I can't get Windows XP (Home) & my Epson Stylus Color 600
to print. No error messages. The spooler takes & shows
the file being sent to the printer. The printer data
light flashes that it is receiving data, but nothing
prints. I also cannot print from the command prompt.

I verified the printer & cable works with my laptop
running Windows 2000. It also does a test print by itself.

I have a Dell 8100. I upgraded from Windows ME and the
problem started, before everthing worked fine.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks
Tom

Question did you upgrade your printer driver to a XP compatible driver after
the os upgrade?
If so did you try to remove printer drver and reinstall printer?

I have the same problem with my eMachines M5310/Epson
CX3200 combo (with USD connection) that are recently
bought. The computer runs Windows XP Home. The Epson was
installed using the installation CD that comes with the
printer. My administrator account can print but not the
limited user account. I have tried using the driver that
comes with Windows as well as upgrading the drivers from
the Epson site but none of them help. However, the same
limited user account has no problem printing on eMachines
M5310/HP 680C combo (using parrellel connection). I have
been trading mey emails with Epson but they cannot help.
Anyone else can?
