I recently upgraded to Win XP and downloaded the
recommended driver from Epson's site. When I try to open
the Epson10086.exe file I downloaded I get an error
message stating that it is not a 32 bit application.
Epson has told me it is an XP issue and I should look for
Article Q 314-452 on the Microsoft site. My search there
does not find the article. How do I get my printer to
work with XP?

First of all, since you mention the word 'upgrade' you need to get rid of
all previous drivers.....

Then ensure you are logged on as an Administrator or a User with Admin
Rights, download and install the software from the Epson website and do NOT
connect the printer to the PC until the software tells you to do so.
