My Epson Sylus CX5200 printer is not showing ink on anything at any setting.
It's going through all the normal motions, but there's nothing on the paper
when it comes out.

All ink cartridges are almost new, and the color monitor is even showing
that I'm using ink.

One other note: I cannot seem to uninstall the software feature with that
model called Epson Smart Panel by conventional means. Might both problems
be connected?

times. You should start seeing faint printing. If not, give it up. If
so, continue a few more times until pics a re OK.

If no luck printing, then, get the printing cartridges out in position
as if you were going to change them. Then shut the printer off AT THE
PLUG, do not use OFF button. Once disconnected, slide the ink
cartridge carrier out of the way to the left. Shine a bright light
into the right side of the printer where the cartridge carrier usually
stays. Look around and you'll fins a slideable litte tray. Slide it to
the right and look in the "hole". I did that today and saw a plastic
hose that was disconnected ..causing the same problem that you have. I
haven't fixed mine yet because I don't have a looooong set of
tweesers! As soon as I find a way, I intend to connect the hose back,
to the long black plastic nozzle.

Good Luck!
Mike
