THE SUBJECT PRINTER IS NOT SHOWN AS COMPATABLE WITH
WINDOWS XP, BUT DOES WORK EXCEPT FOR BEING ABLE TO CHANGE
THE DPI FOR DIFFERENT SIZE PRINTS. IS THERE ANY WAY TO
WORK AROUND THIS?
THANKS

Try the Epson Stylus Photo Esc P/2 driver.

Alternately, and probably better, there is a printer driver on the Epson
site for Windows 2000. That driver might be satisfactory for use with XP.

In addition, for greater convenience, you might want to use the Status
Monitor available there.

You should be able to change the print point size in the software you use to
print. E.g. MS Word. If you have use of any printer-resident fonts in mind,
I do not know if this printer has any. With some Epson models, there are
such fonts but these might not be available unless you install the driver
for the printer that particular printer emulates. I recall that the Photo
12000 emulates the IBM X24E.

Let us know.
