If you need this fix and need a kit give me a call

But if you want to convert same print head for Eco Solvent print head and
you think you would be able to make a similar fix we can made that
Convention kit for you on demand basis.

Otherwise Eco Solvent ink will dissolve these pins in one week

OK?

Someone has broken Light Cyan Ink supply Pin at printhead for Epson Stylus
Photo 5000. Or he has used wrong ink and this pin has been dissolved with
this ink.

So the choice was threw a way this old printer. Pay a fortune for an ancient
print head. But the problem will repeat if he do not replace or flush out
his CISS

Or we have to look how to find solution for this problem.

But as these problems are common with Eco Solvent inks. Now we have a
solution how to convert these print heads ton Eco solvent friendly Print
heads

Fix - What ?

For there to be a "fix" one has to thoroughly describe the problem and
then thoroughly describe the solution.

You have not done that.

I will try to explain what adriatic says. He has the knowledge and the spare
parts for fixing these type of printheads. As I understand well, he sells
the corresponding kits for fixing printheads. He also offers the same for
someone who wants to use solvent inks.

No

If the interest is going to be on this project, we can try to made these
kits. In two kinds . One as replacement for OEM pins and other with metalic
pins for solvent inks. Otherwise we have other things to do with our time.

But I think the whole idea is interesting and worth while.

In fact we have recently received from Hong Kong some Magic Eco solvent ink
for trial. It worked as expeted but next week all these pins were deformated
an looked like burned candles.

So we could not put this ink on market. But with this modification you can
save on bought. On printer and on third patry inks.

What about the rest of the printhead plastics? If you replace the pins, the
other plastic endures the solvent ink?

I am talking about Eco solvent inks. And there is a great difference among
these inks depending on formulation and supplyer . But they all use Epson
printhead technology. And you can not easy technology determinated material
like these simple plastic parts.

But if you want to test some of these inks it is smart to take an
disposibal printer for 10 - 20$ than to test it in print head that cost
400 - 500 $ and replace these eco solvent ink overnight with proven ones.
