Epson Photo 950 paper feed problem

Hi everyone,
I've been given an Epson photo 950 printer, and was hoping that someone
would have an idea how to fix it :-) Basically, the paper won't feed into
the printer. Everything seems to be turning (the rollers etc), but the part
of the paper input mechanism that should lift up and bring the top sheet of
paper into contact with the rubber roller doesn't seem to want to move. has
anyone seen this problem with this (or indeed any similar) printer before?
If so, is there a way to fix it? I'm loathe to throw it away, it's a nice
printer and will perfectly meet my needs, as long as I can get it working.

Investigate www.fixyourownprinter.com which seems to
have repair kits for wear problems like this.

Hey, everone WAS right. You ARE retarded. I think I can speak for everyone
here when I suggest you turn your computer off, ask the nurse to let you
play outside, and run under the nearest moving bus.
