Hello -- I can't seem to figure out how to do a multi-page scan on my
Epson Perfection 610. It seems as though I ought to be able to feed in
one page at a time, but then save it all as one document. I'm talking
about being able to save a three- or four-page magazine article as a
single PDF file. What am I missing? Thanks.

You need an application that can save scanned images as a multipage
document, PDF or TIFF. A photo application usually does not have that
ability.

Irfanview is capable of creating multipage TIFF images. Then you can make a
PDF from the Tiff images.

Omnipage Pro 15 is capable of creating multipage PDF files.

PDF Create! can create a multipage PDF from individual images.

Adobe Acrobat can create mulitpage PDFs from scans. Not the free reader, the
full Adobe Acrobat.

It is possible to create a multipage document with Microsoft Word from the
scanner.

There is free PDF software on the web. just search one of the software
download centers.
Search Google for 'software download sites'.

I think you solved my problem. I can save the scans in pretty much any
format, then copy and paste them into Word. Price: Free. Thank you.

Word has a scanner interface, you can scan directly into Word from a TWAIN
scanner.
You may have to install the scanner interface from the Word Installation CD.

In Word start a New document, then Insert > Picture > From Scanner or
Camera.

If the scanner interface is not already installed, From Scanner or Camera
will be gray, just click on From Scanner or Camera, Word will then ask if
you want to install it, then ask for the CD and install the interface.

Irfanview is free, also.

There is free PDF creation software at the download sites.
