Epson managed to stop delivery of non Epson ink from a supplier in
Canada.
If Epson prevents me from buying less expensive inks I guarantee I
will never again buy an Epson product again.

I bought my Epson Stylus Photo R1800 Printer new and have spent
hundreds of dollars on Epson brand Glossy, Double Sided Matte and
Lustre paper but I buy non-Epson inks because it is affordable and
allows me as a hobby to unjoy my printing. I can afford the $16 a set
for inks compared to $104 a set which wuld prevent me from printing.
Epson's policy preventing me from access to cheap ink is a lose-lose
sitution.
I will not be able to enjoy my hobby. Epson will no longer receive
income from the Epson paper purchases by me or consider buying a next
generation Epson printer when the R1800 eventually wears out. A
guarantee that Epson sales will eventually join the plunging economy!

There will always be garbage ink for a garbage printer. It is GIGO

Only an ignoramus could call inks "garbage inks" without using, trying
or producing prints using a specific ink.
I have numerous examples of high quality prints using four different
brands of Chinese made on my Epson R1800 over several years.

I would recommend you drink your milk from China and then brush your teeth
with chinese tooth paste. Then you can make an omlet with chinese eggs
and while you are add it get some extra protein my mixing in some
mushrooms that were sprayed with ddt and some cat and dog sausage.
