Basically explained it in the subject box. About every 6 lines or so of
text, it prints only the bottom half of a line, and every two lines are
slightly misaligned. I've gone through all the realignment things on
the printer and printed test pages, and it still turns out like this.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Thank You,

Did it go like this gradually or all at once..

If it doesn't print the test strip correctly then it does sound lik
the print head, either clogged or require replacement - but it is to
easy to say even though it does seem a common factor

You said in the first post in prints every 6 lines or so then th
bottom one it only prints half a line width of text, meaning tha
half the text is missing on every 6th line or so

To clarif
Those six line of text are they correct.. or are they as I assume lik
the test strip you printed all out of alignment .. with every sixt
line of half text, which could easily be print head alignment

Whether trying to re-install the drivers will help or not I can't sa
but will cost nothing to try

What might be a clue is half of the text is missing every 6t
line...

Stepper motor, timing belt that drives the print head assembley o
even the ribbon cable that connects the head - can't really see i
being any of these, I mention these because of the repetition ever
6th line..

Please email me for further discussion and suggestions. It may be a
head clog that is resolvable.
