Hello all,
I just got a new computer with Vista Home Premium 32-bit edition. I'm trying
to install my Epson CX5000 printer, and have had nothing but problems. I
downloaded and installed the Vista compatible printer and TWAIN drivers from
Epson and installed them, but the computer can't recognize that their is a
printer connected. It lists it only as a USB 2.0 High Speed device. I've
tried to manually locate the drivers, leading Vista right to where the driver
files are located, but still no luck. The printer is located in my printer
folder, but I'm unable to print or scan. I've spent hours on the phone with
various tech support people, and the farthest I've gotten is that there's a
problem with Vista's usb.ini files. Can anyone give me an idea on something
else to try?
Thanks,
Eric
