Hello,
A friend of mine has an Epson CX 5200 and has bought some compatible
cartridges for it, however when he came to install the red cartridge, (that
being the first one to run out) he had an error message saying that they
were not Epson genuine cartridges and so they wouldnt work, he said he had
to change to the HP printer setting (that printer is no longer connected) to
get it to accept them. Has anyone else had this problem with compatible
cartridges? Only I'm thinking of buying a new printer myself and would be
put off buying a new one if the compatibles arent going to work. I was
thinking of buying the Epson R300 but the ink is approx 80 Pounds for the
set whereas the compatibles I'm told are 30.
Thanks.
