Hi All,

Nozzles on Epson C80 are completely clogged. I was printing something (no
problem at all)
and after 5 minutes tried to print again. ... Nothing at all. I tried to
clean head by running
utility 4 or 5 times but it does not help. It can print yellow little bit
but no other colors.

Is there other way to clean heads?

Regards,
Vlad Kirienko

Look under the utility tab under properties for the printer. There will be
an option for nozzle check, run that, then it will ask if you want to run
cleaning cycles. Do it from this menu. They do say it can take 8-10
cleanings to clear a clog. I have also heard others mention to run 5-6
cleaning cycles and let it sit overnight, then run several more the next
day.

I'm using Epson compatible cartridges.

Apparently they aren't really compatible.

They were perfectly compatible for last 1.5 years.

My gut feeling is that you have a emity yellow cartridge with a bad
ink level sensor. Try replacing the yellow tank. On my c-80 it
shows the each ink tank (4 tanks).

I have a clog on my C80 as well. This process is very frustrating as you
have to print a page each time. Can't they just let you run the nozzle
clean repeatedly without having to do that? Also, I think this printer
driver and especially ink monitor app are badly written software. The ink
monitor crashes on me pretty frequently and I suspect it leaks resources,
my windows resources always get low and other programs complain. Closing
the ink monitor seems to fix that. Is there an update or do people just
not run this thing? Or is it just me?
