Have a problem with an Epson Stylus Color C63

THe printer works fine and prints ok. But it won't feed the paper anymore.
So it will print, even if there isn't any paper there.

Any ideas on how to fix, check the paper feed problem?

Try to press the button in middle before you start printing job. The
middle button is the paper feed button. If it dosn't work you can
contact me again.

An intermittent feed problem is probably glazed rollers, which need
cleaning. I suggest taking some letter sized student watercolor paper
and spraying it with a bit of isopropyl alcohol (about 70%, as it
evaporates more slowly) and run it through the printer in several
directions. If it dries too rapidly spray it again (but do not dampen
it so it becomes overly saturated and weak). If it gets dirty, replace it.

Then run a bit of UNCOATED standard bond through it to dry it.

Some people use an orange oil extract which is sold as a rubber
restorer. It is sold on the web.

I took an unlighted match out of a printer the other day and a broken
hair-comb a couple of months ago. If the printer goes through the motions of
picking paper but it only goes so far, I would suspect a forign object in
the paper path. If the printer does not try to pick paper then, I suspect
that a spring in the pick mechanism is out of place. If that's the case it's
a dismantling job, for that you must know how printers work. Sorry that it's
now the 22nd but I've only just read your post.
