Hi, Group
I have a printhead blockage with my printer.
I have tried all manner of ways to clear it, but no luck.
I was considering the final resort of removing the cartridge housing
and sitting it in a saucer of warm water or cleaning fluid.
But removal of this housing appears difficult.
Has anyone had any success in this removal, and if so, how?

Thanks Guys

I strongly suggest against this method. I have seen many head ruined
that way.

If you email me via the email address shown below, and explain what it
is your what to accomplish with which model, I will send you a free
manual explaining the best ways to clear head clogs without removing the
printer shell or the head.

The manual is free of charge.

No sense offering that knee-jerk reaction until you find out what kind
of printer the OP is using......

Unless you are assuming that all Epsons clog.

Hi,
I don't buy Epson cartridges.
I have bought and used compatible cartridges for some time now
without any problems.
I have had another go at flushing today.
I put a piece of absorbent tissue under the printhead, and the
flushing produced a patch of all colours onto the tissue.
I was content that the printhead was clear.
I also checked the ink pads which i had cleaned some days ago,
and they were soaked in ink.
I can only assume that the printhead is clear, because ink is getting to
the pads after a cleaning cycle.
Arthur Entlich kindly sent me some information about cleaning techniques,
and i hope to try these in the next few days.
However, I am beginning to think that the problem maybe on the communication
side of the printer.
I have tried the latest driver (V5.4bA)
I have uninstalled, reinstalled and checked/cleaned all connections.
Maybe a new printer would be the answer.

Thanks Guys
