I'm cleaning the waste ink pads on an Epson C40UX for a buddy. Th
main pads are located at the rear of the machine, no problem there
But, there is a smaller pad (a couple of centimetres long) which ha
come loose. It goes somewhere in amongst the printer mechanism and
think it's meant to clean the nozzles as they pass over it. Doe
anyone know precisely where it should sit and how to keep it i
place

E-mail me if you would like the service manual which may help.

Maybe you should change your name to "computer troublemaker" ;-)

If you can send me a simple scan of the pads in question (at about
200-300 ppi) I can try to locate where they belong.

Send the scan to:

e-printerhelp(at)mvps(dot)org

(at) = @
(dot) = .

THAT DOES NOT WORK BUT
(e-mail address removed) IN LOWERCASE DOES WORK
