Suddenly, after doing a normal print of a photo, my Epson 750 Photo printed
the next one in just red. I changed cartridges, and tried again, and it
printed in just green. Tried on my HP 720C, and got the same thing, except
the print was purple. Various error messages arose - 0(0x0), 28(0x1c),
1223 (0x4c7) in event viewer, and the management console showed similar
errors. Nothing appears on the MS KB, or in my lists of Windows error
messages that is of any use whatsoever. Because the problem occurs on both
printers (and from both Photoshop 6 and Photoshop Elements using the same
photo and another one), could it be a problem with Windows Printing System?
I've restored to yesterday, before the problem, but that did not fix it.
I've also tried installing the Epson again, with no change. I've tried
disabling the print spooler in management, and then re-enabling it, as
suggested by MS - no difference. Would reinstalling or repairing XP do the
trick? I have SP1 on a separate CD.
Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated.
