Are you referring to the Epson Stylus Photo 950, an approximately 5 year
old UK printer model, or another model? Epson tends to use different
model numbers for different global regions and also has the bad habit of
reusing the same number over again. The model I refer to above is called
the Stylus Photo 960 in North America)
This printer uses 6 cartridges. One black, and 5 colored cartridges:
Cyan
Light Cyan
Magenta
Light Magenta
Yellow
However, the black head has twice the number of nozzles as the colors
do. (192 nozzles black, 96 per color) so the black nozzle check usually
has either two sections of black "steps" or twice the number of lines of
steps versus the color.
If you wish to, you can send me a scan of your nozzle check and I can
look it over for you. Scan it at 300 dpi and jpeg at high quality.
Just send me the part of the pages that shows the nozzle check.
Send it to:
