I recently replaced my Ink Maintanance tanks on my Epson 9000. I put
the printer back together - turned it on - it worked for about 5
minutes and then shut off abruptly when I was going through the
self-diagnostic menu. Now when I hit the power button nothing happens.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?

thanks

No idea, but it sounds like an internal fuse blew from your description.
If so, there may have been a good reason, or you might have had a
power surge, or it might have just been fatigued, sometimes they just go.

I assume you are indicating that when you press on the power button
literally nothing happens. It doesn't start up, make noises, light up
any LEDS, just sits there dead, is that correct?

Are you sure the power cord is fully plugged in (both sides if it comes
off at the printer end), and that any circuit it is plugged into (or
power bar) is also working. Check all your AC power first. Plug a lamp
into the socket or power bar it is using, change power bars, or location
on the power bar. Sometimes one socket will fail.

Get back to me in private email and I may be able to help you further.
