You need to find the source of the ink.
There are several potential sources.
It may be black ink or it may be a mixture of the CMY inks, which also
looks black.
Make sure the cartridges/clamps are properly seated.
If you are refilling your cartridges, you may have one that has a
damaged rubber seal. The ink outlet hole on the cartridge has a rubber
seal that is supposed to make a tight seal on the ink nipple (the part
that inserts into the outlet, and punctures the plastic seal when you
first install it). If the seal has failed, the ink can leak around it,
and that ink often migrates to under the heads where it may drip.
Other causes include a hair or piece of fluff under the head causing
capillary drainage from the head nozzles.
Or the cleaning station may be not draining the purged ink and it is
being dragged onto the paper by the heads, or there may be a lot of
dried ink built up on the head which is causing ink to divert to the
head surface and drip off.
Once you determine the cause, you can then clean the printer paper
transport.
If you email me privately, I will send you a copy of my Epson Cleaning
Manual which still provide you with instructions on how to clean under
the heads, and clean the transport, etc.
