I bought an Epson 830 photo printer a few months ago. When I used the
original Epson ink cartridges and paper, I got really nice photo
realistic glossy prints. But the Epson ink and paper ran out very
quickly.
I started using cloned paper and ink because I just could not afford
Epson stuff. One cartridge along, the printer lost its gloss look
printouts. Over the last few months, I have tried various different
paper and ink (with the exception of Epson) and I just cannot get that
glossy look. The prinouts just come out looking a bit like canvas.
I saw a company called Magic who were doing a sales show. The
printouts they were doing with their paper and ink were brilliant. So
I bought their paper and ink and tried that. No luck. The printouts
are still lustre looking lacking any kind of gloss.
Is there something wrong with the printer or do I have just have to
use Epson ink and paper? How were the Magic company printing brilliant
copies using their paper/ink?
