I scanned 30 slides just fine last night and this morning the preview
screen is blank. It makes all the normal sounds and can't find the
answer in the help menu, restarted, checked the connections. Ignoring
it and continuing the scan results in a saved blank screen. I didn't
change anything from last night but turned the computer off. I'm using
the single slide attachment. Of course, this needs to go to my client
tomorrow and it happened out of the blue on a Saturday. Hope someone
can answer this. Thanks

Check the connections on the transparency unit and make sure it is plugged
in all the way.
Also do a preview of a slide, while the unit is scanning look to see of the
light is on.

Unplugged and replugged. I don't see any from light under the lid--so
there is a burned out bulb or a button off? Thanks so much for
responding.

You did remove the cover over the light in the lid, didn't you?

I did that once and wondered what was wrong, I now have a little label
on the lid saying 'Remove top plate before using film scanner' :-)
