Hi folks,
I have a stack of old (mostly1890s) family photographs in the form of
glass negatives. The plates measure 120mm x 164 mm, image size is
114mm (4.5") x 158mm (6.25") . I want to scan these on my Epson
Perfection 3200 scanner.
The transparency adapter on the scanner is specified as being 4" x 9"
and when I scan using either the Epson Scan software or Vuescan I get
an image which is 100mm (4") wide. The scanner illuminator is 120mm
wide - does anybody know if it is possible to use the full width of
the lamp so that I can scan my transparencies in one pass?
I am using a home made negative holder (cut from mounting board) which
centres the plate under the illuminator and has a cut-out at the end
to match the standard Epson holders.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
TIA,
Ian
