I have found that if the printer preview box is checked the computer crashes
every time. Untick and no problems. I am using XP 2GH. Any one
experienced this and how can it be overcome?

Epson has "new" drivers on their support site.

My 2200 (US version of 2100) works fine on W2K except when I try
to print large borderless banners -- the entire printing
subsystem crashes after I change an ink cart when one runs out
during printing. This is very frustrating and the "new" driver
didn't fix it. I have two local printers and a network printer
on this machine and when I say the entire printing subsystem
crashes I mean no printers are visible after this until I reboot
W2K. Changing an ink cart during printing of a 13x19 photo
worked fine.

I always use print preview to make sure the "magnification" in
borderless printing doesn't crop something important near the
edges and have had no problems with it. I've XP home on my
notebook and it seems to print to the 2200 on the W2K box OK with
print preview enabled, although I haven't done this a lot,
usually from the notebook I want the laser printer.

What does "2GH" refer to wrt XP?

Preview works fine on my Epson 2100 & WinXP Pro SP1 with "Epson Color
Printing System" version 5.3

Perhaps it needs a lot of memory? I've got 512MByte in mine.
