Is ther a way to change the default font, size, bold settings for addresses
when using the Envelope & Label Wizard. Everytime I print a label I manually
configure it to my preferrences. TY

Labels are tables and thus use the Normal paragraph style by default.
Envelopes use the Envelope Address paragraph style.
In either case you can override the settings by right clicking in the
envelope/label dialog or, if you are collecting the address from the
addressee section of a letter, they will reflect any *manual* formatting
applied to the addressee section.

I've been having trouble setting the default font on a Word 2010 installation on Terminal Services. If I follow the below steps to set the default font to Arial for my envelopes, the setting does not stay. I'm running Office from a terminal server and I believe that has something to do with it. Any ideas?

Steps I follow to set the default:

  1. Open your envelope settings.
    • In Word 2007/2010:
      1. In the Microsoft Ribbon, select the Mailings tab.
      2. Click the Envelopes button.
  2. Click the Options... button.
  3. Select the address for which you want to change the font.
    • To change the font in the delivery address, under Delivery Address, click on the Font... button.
    • To change the font in the return address, under Return Address, click on the Font... button.
  4. Select the font settings you want to use.
  5. Set the default option
    • In 2010, click the Set As Default button.
  6. Click the Yes button.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Close the Envelopes and Labels window.
