In the 98 version of Word you could create an address book
to print envelopes. When to office converted to Windows
XP and Office XP I am no longer able to access that
address book from windows. I have found the address book
on the computer with all my information in it I can edit
and add new address. How can I get this information
connected to word and not have to use the Outlook contact
lists and just wants an e-mail address.

The addressing function is irrevocably tied to the e-mail function and
requires a MAPI compliant e-mail application to be the default in order to
work. This essentially means Outlook's address book. Some earlier versions
of Windows provided a subset of Microsoft Exchange to provide this facility.
Recent versions don't.
