When attempting to format a report to print names and
addresses on an envelope I do the following:

1. Open a report in the design mode.
2. Select the source, a table.
3. Place the fields on the report.
4. Click on File - Page Setup and then the Page tab.
5. Select the No. 10 envelope from the list.
6. Select the source from the list.
7. Click on OK and close the window.

At this point the "Page" which should be a number 10
envelope changes back to an 8.5 x 11 sheet.

The question is how do I print an envelope if the
information entered in the page format will not take.

Thank you for your time.

.
Select a paper source
On the File menu, click Print.
Click Properties.
Do one of the following:
On Windows 2000, click the Paper/Quality tab.
On Windows 98 and Windows Millennium Edition, click the
Paper tab.
On Windows NT, click the Page Setup tab.
In the Paper source box, click the paper source you want.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for the reply. It will not work for the following
reason. This is a report in a distrubited application. I
have found that I can not give them (the user) the ability
to select the formating at print time. When I do they make
changes in the margins and elsewhere. Then I am told that
my application does not work.

I have to hard code the envelope format into the report but
it will only take an 8.5 by 11 sheet. All others will not
remain past the OK button.
