Entering PID on a Resealed Image

I was under the impression the whole reason in using the Resealing Process
was so you can set up your machine on the target software get it working
then reseal, copy the image off and onto other machines so it will be ready
to rock with a new GUID.

If this is the case then is there anyway of entering a PID on the working
runtime image as the idea of having to build a new image everytime and go
though the whole FBA and hardware setup and installing our application etc
on every new device is just madness.

the reason in using the resealing process is to generate new SID, you
only need enter PID once.

Hmmmm maybe im misundertsanding then because we havent actually purchased
any run-time licences yet only the development tools.

Will all of our runtime licences have the same PID then? What I mean is if
we build a player using the system cloning tool and then reseal it and put
it on another device they will have different SIDs but identical PIDs....
Assumingly they would have to match the PID on the COA for each player.

Correct. The SIDs are the concern for duplication since you don't want two
computers with the same SID and computer name on a network.

The license key only has to be enterned once in TD. You can duplicate the
image all you want, but attached a license sticker to each unit. You should
contact your local Microsoft distributor for more information.
