Entering Contact Information Problem

A client of mine has a very weird problem. When they
enter a new contacts information either directly in
the "Name" text box or using the "Full Name" button the
name changes to the exact opposite.
For example; John Q. Smith is entered... You tab to
another field and it is displayed as Smith Q. John. I am
not talking about the "Save As" field. This is how it is
displayed in the "Name" field. When you select the "Full
Name" button it is displayed as Smith Q. John (Fname,
Mname, Lname fields respectively).
System particulars: MS XP Pro; MS Office 2003.

Did you examine the default setting you specified for the Full Name field?
