Entering a formula in Mulitiple Cell

Hi, I need to enter a formula that is specific to each
row such as =PRODUCT(A2,B2) and then would come =PRODUCT
(A3,B3) etc, but I don't know how to easily and quickly
enter this formula in an entire column, can anyone offer
any advice? Thanks
 
One way:

Enter =PRODUCT(A2,B2) in to cell C2, then drag the fill handle
(lower right corner) of C2 down as far as needed.

Another way:

Enter the above in C2 and Copy the cell. Select the range to contain
the formulae. Paste.
