Enter Network Password

I have a network from an XP PC with a Windows 98 Pc as
the other Pc on the network. Recently I changed settings
for my email accounts and ever since have had repeated
appearance of the "Enter Network Password" dialogue box.
The "remember password" clearly does not work as the box
appears again and again. Very Vexing. I have tried
Microsoft Knowledge article 264672 but this does not
work. A Google search reveals I am not alone in
exeriencing this problem. How can I fix it?

I'm having the same problem. I just installed Outlook
and I can't send or receive e-mail because it insists on
a username and password, but when I enter the ones in
my "Account" page it won't accept them. The product is
totally useless as a result.
