enter key no workey

Running xp on 2 yr old dell. i use the computer all day
and frequently have no use of my enter key. after
rebooting it works again for a while. I haven't been able
to associate any particular activity with it, but someone
in another newsgroup said it happened to him when he
closed explorer. i've uninstalled, reinstalled the old
keyboard and even installed a new keyboard. still doing
it. won't you help before i throw it through the
window?

I'm having the exact same problem. See post on 2/15/04 "enter key stops working". I talked to HP. I've talked to computer techies. Nobody seems to know what the deal is. If you get an answer, please forward to me at (e-mail address removed). I will be forever in your debt. I found that it only stops working after I go online.
