I have two computers in one workgroup, wks01 and wks02.

I have created exactly the same user account and
password in both two computers. But I still cannot enter
into \\wks02 from \\wks01.

When I clicked the computer icon wks02 in the My network
places to enter into the networked computer, one message
comes out:

"\\wks02 is accessible
Logon failure: the user has not been granted
the requested logon type at this computer"

But vice versa, I could successfully enter into the
computer \\wks01 from \\wks02.

Q1)Why I got this message when I want to enter into
\\wks02?
Q2)How can I successfully enter into \\wks02 from \\wks01?
Q3)Lastly, why I could successfully enter into the \\wks01
from \\wks02?

Please help. Thank you very much!

On WKS02 try the following.

1. From the Control Panel, Open Administrative tools, then Local Security
Policy

2. Expand Local Policies, then select User Rights Assignment

3. Double click Access this computer from the network

4. Add the following users or groups if they are not already in the allow
access
list
- Administrators
- Power Users
- Users
- Everyone
- System

5. Verify able to connect to the system.
